As much as an extended education is a wonderful opportunity, all the learning and knowing did not filmed with the joy, love, ease, contentment, I had hoped for.
Yes, there were heights of success, achievements, prestige, propelling me to do even better, but something was lacking in my life, in my soul. At times a secret silent sadness grew, not to be kept down forever.
Maybe the perfect life was just around a corner?
What, if I could find that something missing.
They earnings of my soul were to be honoured.
Beyond all the earned physical gratifications and pleasures this invisible unique sacred life in me yearned to live its flow in space and time.
My soul, my feelings connected this depth of my Being to the everyday life I was living on the surface.

Nothing beats something good, but the taste of something better, fuller, opulent?
I was craving a visible, tangible symbol, representing / embodying the fulfilment of my heart's desires.
My paintings added what was missing.
Yearning to connect deeper with my soul, to be more in touch with my intuition, to add more value to my life, to discover and rediscover the magic, the paintings bridged the gap.
The hidden richness could find its way into my life.
I sense peace, calm, ease when I enter the presence of these pieces of art. They seem to produce a meditative state in me immediately.
It feels like they nourish my soul like organic food nourishes my body. I love, indeed I need, I cherish both.

Just like Yoga gives us a practical tool at working at a higher level of awareness the mantra, so I found a similar effect in the visual mantra inherent in my paintings. The mantra is a word or phrase that can protect us. It serves as a focus of attention in times of panic, and it is a resting place for awareness leading to our true nature. Through its connection to the deep spiritual resources that lie within us, the mantra pacifies fear and encourages us to persist in the face of disturbing thoughts and upsetting emotions.
We cannot prevent life from change. Life is inherently unstable. But during periods of change we can have the courage to identify and express our needs. We can look for ways to surrender gracefully to the inevitable. We can trust, through our experience of yoga, that the essential self within us will guide us through the emotions of change successfully.
